A BRIGHT IDEA FOR

 MARKET STREET

We are starting an event called “Brighten up for the Kids”. Last year Youngstown Cycle challenged Audio Extreme and our neighboring businesses on market street to see who could have the best light display, to brighten up the community in Boardman. Putting together the display is a way for area businesses to inspire some cheer in the people passing by and to show a love for the holiday. So last year we were featured in the Vindicator and the challenge was on. This was not an attempt to increase sales between stores but merely an attempt to brighten everyone’s holiday season. We would like all businesses from the Akron’s Children’s Hospital/ Mahoning Valley up to 224 on Market Street to participate. We will be supporting the Akron’s Children’s Hospital/Mahoning Valley. We are going to be collecting gifts for the children who have to stay in the hospital over Christmas. By making the area surrounding the hospital cheery and bright it just might help the kids, their families, and employees feel the Christmas spirit as well.

The “Santa” list for the kids includes:

Coloring Books

Crayons

Craft Sets

Games

Books

This year we would like to do the same thing, and we are asking for our fellow Market street businesses to join in the fun. Maybe we can all make a difference for a few kids and “brighten up” there holiday as well. We want to have the light challenge begin Nov. 26th and run through January 7th. Collecting of the gifts for the kids will be no later than Dec. 23rd. If you are interested or want more information please give us a call. (330) 788-9078.

Thank you & Merry Christmas!
